I am in Geneva for a bunch of things – the most significant of which to fill in as a jury part for the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve, or GPHG, or as numerous individuals call it, “The Oscar’s of Watchmaking”. These most renowned honors are chosen by a global jury comprised of the most regarded (ahem, ahem) editors, specialists, authorities, and antiquarians. Individual jury part Elizabeth Doerr chose to consider her companions at the WatchesTV over to get a portion of our responses the day of the choices, and that is the thing that you’ll see above.
Watch, and tune in Friday to see who brings home the prestigous Aiguille d’Or, or Golden Hand, the night’s chief prize.
