The Digital Sports Seiko A829-6019 That Went Into Space

Yesterday, I wrote for a blog about the Dutch space explorer wearing a Seiko during his STS61A mission in 1985. It appears to be that the Seiko gave out to the space explorers of mid-1980s missions, is the computerized chrono A829-6019 model as presented beneath. It was accessible in two forms, the SMGG11 and the SMGG13 (dark bezel and LCD inlay).

The picture above was found on and it says that this watch was created in 1982. Furthemore, the site expresses that these watches have been “assigned” or chose by NASA, and were just “personal” decisions made by the space travelers themselves. Nonetheless, Dutch space traveler Wubbo Ockels cleary states in a meeting in a new magazine (having a place with ) that he got his one from NASA.

I discovered one on eBay, . It is presently on there for $425, is that a lot to request NASA equipment?
