Ah, public authorities and their wristwatches – what a sweltering relationship. We’ve seen an extraordinary watch bring down a future Prime Minister or two , and Polish Transport Minister Slawomir Nowak is only the most recent loss. Nowak is confronting public criticism for not proclaiming a watch worth roughly $6,600. It is government command that a legislator should make note of anything worth more than $3,300, and he neglected to do so.
Nowak has been noted for his inclination for Ulysse Nardin and Hublot, and was there by captured by the “Horological Good Taste Police” (simply joking!). He did, altogether reality, leave awaiting additional examination, saying that this specific watch, and all the rest were endowments or borrowed. You can peruse the full report here .
