As guaranteed , we present to you the photos of the new Linde Werdelin Oktopus II Double Date watch. During one of our first arrangements in BaselWorld we’ve met with Morten Linde and Jorn Werdelin and set aside some effort to shoot photographs of their new Oktopus II. So, we are dazzled by this new style sports watch with its regular LW plan but so not quite the same as their past Oktopus diver’s watch.
The subtleties we’ve referenced in our Oktopus II declaration blog entry were far and away superior, all things considered, similar to the Oktopus on the dial, the logo between the 7 and 8 o’clock hour marker and the 9, 3 and 6 o’clock numerals. Above, you see the rose gold/titanium model that will retail for 18.500 CHF and will be limited to 88 pieces only.
A pleasant detail we haven’t referenced in our declaration is the engraved oktopus in the crown. Much the same as the dial, LW chose to make the plan of the dial [and crown] without causing concessions concerning to putting a logo or brand name.
The case back of the Oktopus II has this unbelievable etching of ….. an oktopus! It glances truly pleasant as we would like to think and as we’ve said previously, we are quite tired by seeing transparant case moves in non-complication watches (except for a couple of course).
Below, you’ll see the titanium variant with a ceramic dial and titanium DLCed instrument connections at 3 o’clock and 6 o’clock [or only ‘ears’] with a yellow tie and coordinating accents on the dial. Confined to 88 pieces, records for 9,400.- CHF.
