From my inbox

I just got this email:

I venture to ask you a counsel on what I ought to like as my next purchase : a Gemini 40th commemoration Special version (my AD gotten one and held it for me) or a standard dark Speedy Pro.

The watch I’ll pick will be my solitary Speedmaster (or so I think today …)

My different watches are : Rolex SS dark Daytona, Breitling dark Navitimer, Panerai Luminor 104, Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 silver, Breitling Superocean blue, and so on

Expressing gratitude toward you ahead of time,

Best respects,

And my answer was:

“Hello Christian,

Problem with Speedmaster restricted releases is, is that they [Omega] bring out restricted versions for each astronaut’s fart 🙂 They will presumably in any event, draw out a restricted version Speedmaster as a result of some restricted version. So I would go for a standard Speedy Pro (as I did), or on the off chance that you truly like the restricted edition’s looks, go for one, yet I would positively not get one since it is limited.

Great assortment incidentally. ”

You likely all know the exemplary ‘Moonwatch’, beneath you’ll see the 40th commemoration edition:
