Earlier this week, the 70 pre-chosen looks for the 2013 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve (GPHG) were announced. These watches, picked by a jury of specialists (, for example, our own Ben Clymer and John Mayer ), are the finalists for fifteen distinctive categories. It is from these watches that every class’ victor will be resolved, and eventually the champ of the “Aiguille d’Or,” the most renowned honor in watchmaking (a year ago won by TAG Heuer’s MikroGirder , the prior year by DeBethune’s DB28 ).
